INTEGRATED SMART CITY STRATEGIES : PUTRAJAYA’S DIGITAL BLUEPRINT & KL’S ECO INITIATIVES
This seminar will focus on the latest smart city initiatives in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, highlighting urban development and sustainable environmental management. The first session will introduce the digital platform "OSC 4.0," aimed at streamlining development processes and achieving green city goals through collaboration between the government and private sector. The following sessions will cover various projects, such as river restoration, electric buses, improvements in public transport using real-time control centers, and urban farming initiatives led by local communities, all of which aim to balance environmental conservation with improving the quality of life for residents.
Additionally, sessions on Sepang International Circuit and KLSC facilities will be included. Sepang International Circuit features a 5.543 km FIA Grade 1 circuit, ideal for international motorsports events. KLSC offers world-class venues for sports, entertainment, and community events, providing opportunities for branding and commercial ventures, with flexible spaces under the slogan "Here, Everything is Possible."

ONE STOP CENTREFOLD (OSC) 4.0
The OSC 4.0 PPJ System (One Stop Center) is an innovative, fully digital development process for Putrajaya, utilizing IR 4.0 technology. This online system aligns with the Putrajaya Smart City Blueprint and Green City 2025 vision, replacing traditional methods. It won the Silver Award in the Technology and Solution category at the 2024 LivCom Awards.

RIVER OF LIFE & HERITAGE TRAILS
The "River of Life & Heritage Trails" project in Kuala Lumpur revitalizes the Klang and Gombak rivers, connecting historic areas with the rejuvenated riverfronts. The initiative aims to improve water quality, enhance accessibility, and create public spaces, while preserving and showcasing Kuala Lumpur's heritage through walking trails and heritage sites.

PUTRAJAYA LAKE AND WETLAND
This program provides a nature-based solution to enhance environmental quality, health, and well-being.

Putrajaya Lake, spanning 400 hectares, was completed in 2002 to enhance the city's aesthetics, support recreation, and attract tourism. The Putrajaya Wetland, Malaysia's first man-made wetland and the largest tropical freshwater wetland, was completed in 1998, transforming an oil palm plantation into a wetland ecosystem.

Waste-to-Wealth / Recycling Economy

This initiative involves recycling used beverage cartons (UBC) into eco-friendly materials like poly aluminum boards (PolyAI), roofing materials, and recycled paper, which are used for creating structures, furniture, and souvenirs.

GOKL BUS & KL COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE (KLCCC)
GOKL provides eco-friendly, affordable transportation in Kuala Lumpur with 86 electric buses. Malaysians and children under 12 ride for free, while non-citizens pay RM1 for unlimited travel. Buses connect to train stations and attractions like KLCC and Menara KL.

The Kuala Lumpur Control & Command Centre (KLCCC) in Bukit Jalil helps monitor traffic and issues like accidents in real-time. With 5,000 CCTV cameras across 2,100 km, the "City Manager" app supports DBKL in managing public law violations, promoting sustainability.

KUALA LUMPUR UNDERGROUND UTILITY DATA CENTRE (KLUDC)
The Kuala Lumpur Underground Utility Data Centre (KLUDC) is a comprehensive system developed for JPPH, utilizing data from JPM DBKL. It features web applications for managing underground utility mapping and facilitates information sharing through interactive Geospatial web apps among DBKL users, enabling regular control and monitoring of the data.

KL URBAN FARMING
The KL Urban Farming initiative aims to build sustainable and resilient urban farming communities, reducing household expenses, creating income opportunities, and promoting healthy food. It focuses on optimizing land use, encouraging youth participation, and developing urban farms for tourism, education, and food security, with guidelines to ensure organized participation from the community and stakeholders.

Sepang International Circuit offers top-tier facilities for motorsports and corporate events.
